Rumors suggest that DJ has rebroken his foot and will miss the rest of the season. Should get a definitive word later today.

Did he hurt it in practice? What happened? That poor young man. Thanks for helping to get me back on the blog. Dad left for Mandy's today. He'll be out of touch (comparatively speaking) for two weeks. I'll call him about DJ when you let me know.
No, he re-hurt it in the OSU game. Broke a different bone in the same foot. Looks like a medical redshirt for him.
We received the Soprano dvd's today. Thank you. Ask Karen if my swim suit is still hanging above your washer. She'll no doublt say a bad word. I didn't see DJ get hurt but even I couldn't watch the whole game without breaks.
Do you think the team can get it together enough so that the Michigan State game won't be effected?
Well, I didn't think Indiana would win at MSU even at full strength, so losing DJ doesn't really affect my feeling about that game. Over the last 8 seasons, MSU is 115-7 at home - that's an average of less than one loss a season. They are really, really tough at home. I like this Indiana team, but expecting a win in East Lansing is just wishful thinking, IMO.
As for the rest of the season, I think we won't be as good as we could have been, but we'll be about as good as we've been since he's been back (because he wasn't at full strength yet), and that's pretty darn good.
